    By organizing the workplace ergonomically, we aim to adapt work as much as possible to a person\u2019s physical and psychological characteristics, while reducing or preventing potential harmful effects on health.<\/p>

    The design of an ergonomic workplace or environment takes human habits into account and, in doing so, often makes work more productive, efficient, and safe.<\/p>

    Absenteeism (absence from work), as a consequence of non-ergonomic working environments, is a multifaceted and complex phenomenon studied by various scientific disciplines.
