Ergonomics – Designed for Human Performance
At KLUN, ergonomics is not an afterthought — it is a fundamental design principle. We believe that every workspace should adapt to the human body, not the other way around. Through thoughtful ergonomic design, we align physical environments with the natural movement, posture, and psychological needs of the individual. The result is a space that supports well-being, clarity, and sustained performance.
An ergonomically designed environment goes beyond comfort. It enhances focus, reduces fatigue, and creates a sense of balance between the user and their surroundings. By understanding human habits and behavior, we design spaces that are intuitive, efficient, and quietly supportive throughout the working day.
Poor ergonomics carries real consequences — from reduced productivity to long-term health issues and increased absenteeism. Across industries, it represents not only a human cost, but a significant economic one. Addressing this requires more than standard solutions; it demands a holistic and intelligent approach.
By organizing the workplace ergonomically, we aim to adapt work as much as possible to a person’s physical and psychological characteristics, while reducing or preventing potential harmful effects on health.
The design of an ergonomic workplace or environment takes human habits into account and, in doing so, often makes work more productive, efficient, and safe.
Absenteeism (absence from work), as a consequence of non-ergonomic working environments, is a multifaceted and complex phenomenon studied by various scientific disciplines. The common finding among different authors studying work absence is that absenteeism is an extremely pressing issue, representing a significant cost for any company.

KLUN Ergonomics – A Tailored Approach
KLUN ergonomics is rooted in custom design, craftsmanship, and architectural thinking.
We do not design generic furniture — we create bespoke seating and environments that respond precisely to the user, the space, and the purpose. Every dimension, material, and proportion is carefully considered to achieve optimal support, durability, and aesthetic clarity.
Our approach combines:
• Anthropometric precision (body-based design)
• Material intelligence (comfort, resilience, tactility)
• Spatial integration (furniture as part of architecture)
• Long-term usability (enduring comfort over time)
This interdisciplinary process allows us to go beyond conventional ergonomics — creating solutions that not only prevent strain and injury, but actively contribute to better work experiences and healthier lifestyles.
Sustainable Comfort. Measurable Impact.
By investing in ergonomic design, companies invest in their people.
The outcome is clear:
• Improved productivity
• Reduced absenteeism
• Greater employee satisfaction
• Long-term health benefits
At KLUN, we design with a simple ambition: to create environments where people feel better, work better, and live better.
